The Last Airbender is an American media franchise created by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, and owned by Viacom International. The franchise is about an Asian-inspired alternate world where some have the ability to bend an element to their will: Water, Earth, Fire or Air. The Avatar is the only one who can bend all four elements. The productions include TV animations and a live-action motion picture, along with its related merchandise (clothing, toys, games, etc., etc.).
The Last Airbender may refer to :
- Avatar: The Last Airbender — the original hit animated TV series produced by Nickelodeon that began the franchise.
- M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender — the live-action film adaptation of the first season of the original series, jointly released by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies.
- The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra — a follow-up TV series produced by Nickelodeon that takes place 70 years after the events of the original series.
