Andrew Lesnie

Andrew Lesnie, A.C.S., A.S.C., (born 1956, died 2015) was an Australian cinematographer who the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in 1979.[1] He was director of photography on Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy and he had filmed several other Jackson-directed films, including King Kong and The Lovely Bones, and also the ongoing The Hobbit trilogy. He passed away from a heart attack at the age 59.[2]
